“The Coalition Against Abuse in Relationships” (C.A.A.R.) is a non-profit organization representing many service providers. www.coalitionagainstabuse.com These members work directly or indirectly with victims and/or perpetrators of violence in relationships. Created in 1990, it attempts to improve awareness of and access to services to the victims and/or perpetrators of abuse through public education and lobbying activities. The ultimate goal is to break and/or prevent the cycle of violence.
